Overnight oats with red fruits and chocolate

So you love oats in the morning, but you hate to get up early to prepare your oats? No worries! Thanks to these overnight oats you don’t have to get up early, so snooze away our friends..!

 

For the overnight oats
  • 120 ml rolled oats
  • 150 ml oat milk
  • 75 ml Greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 tablespoon chia seed
  • Spoon full of canned cherries
  • A splash of cherry juice
    To top off with
    • Hagelswag Almond&Berries
    • Cherries and other berries

      Start with mixing the oat milk and the Greek yoghurt to a smooth consistency. Once mixed, add the fine rolled oats and the chia seed. The yoghurt and the chia seed will give the overnight oats its creamy character. 

      Add the cherries and a splash of juice from the can or jar. The juice is a replacement for any honey or syrup. Not a big fan of cherries? No worries, add some banana or other fruits. Put some foil over your bowl and let the oats soak overnight (for at least 5 hours).

      After snoozing some extra time in the morning, just take your oats out of the fridge and add some extra cherries, berries and of course a nice deal of Hagelswag Almond&Berries for some crunch.
